On April 18, 2016 FDA finally approved collagen cross linking. This is exciting news for all the patients with progressive keratoconus, who were hesitant to undergo the procedure without an FDA approval. FDA approval re-affirms what we have known for a long time, that this is the only procedure able to stop progression of keratoconus and prevent loss of vision. Given our extensive experience in treating keratoconus, we look forward to continuing preserving the gift of sight in our patients.
